EarPlanes (For Kids & Smaller Ears) (1 pair)

EarPlanes Children's Ear Plugs might look simple, but they feature a high-tech design that is capable of maximizing comfort for your children when they are flying. The ear plug has two distinct parts: a silicone ear plug and a ceramic pressure regulator. Four rings create an airtight seal between the ear plug and your child's ear canal. As cabin pressure changes during flight, the ceramic filter lessens the effect of these changes on your child's ear. As a result, air pressure changes become less bothersome when your children are protected by EarPlanes ear plugs.

Kid-Friendly Features

While the primary purpose of EarPlanes Children's Ear Plugs is to minimize discomfort caused by cabin pressure changes, the ear plugs also act as noise-reduction devices. In fact, they are capable of reducing noise by as much as 20 decibels. EarPlanes are made of soft, hypoallergenic, latex-free silicon. These drug-free ear plugs are designed with smaller ears in mind, making them ideal for children ages 1 to 11.

The effectiveness of EarPlanes Children's Ear Plugs has been evaluated by a number of reputable organizations. They were developed by Cirrus Healthcare Products LLC and the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles. U.S. Navy aviators at the Miramar Naval Air Station in San Diego have also tested these ear plugs for effectiveness. Pick up a pair today before your family trip.

Directions

Before inserting, pinch nose and blow to clear your ears. For best results, always insert EarPlanes one hour before landing. Remove after landing and when the cabin door is opened. Chronic sufferers may also insert EarPlanes just before takeoff. EarPlanes may be removed when the airplane reaches maximum altitude and reinserted one hour before landing. For maximum results, use your opposite hand to pull the top of your ear upward. Insert the ribbed end and turn like a corkscrew until snug.

Recommendation: Do not reuse after two flights since pollen, dust, and moisture will reduce effectiveness.
